    An isometric action RPG that takes place in and below the town of Tristram. Gothic fantasy weapons and spells are used to defeat hordes of monsters from hell through randomized dungeon levels, continuously gaining experience points, gold, and a variety of equipment to bolster the hero's monster-killing potency along the way.

    Had the big Diablo poster hanging on my bedroom door for years...

    On the inside of the door obviously :)  This is the first memory I have of Diablo, and it's also what got me back into PC gaming at the time. Never did I realize just how big Diablo,D2 and soon to be D3 would be. Originally, I just thought the poster looked cool, which is basically the box cover art above minus the little marketing lingo on it. I wish I still had it, but I've moved 3 times since then....I'm pretty sure this came in an issue of CGW(Computer Gaming Monthly :( RIP) in 1996, a whole year prior to the game's release, if I'm not mistaken.

    Anyone else have this poster?
