Dino Ignacio was born & raised in Marikina, Metro Manila. He attended the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, during which time he co-created 2 issues of the comic book Memento Mori, published by Alamat comics. He left college after 3 years to co-found a design house called Binary Soup. Among his many accomplishments since are the writing & illustrating of a 1997 children's book entitled The Tower of Misunderstanding and a 1998 Webby award for his parody website Bert is Evil.
Dino moved to San Francisco in 1999 to pursue his education at the Academy of Art University from which he graduated. He holds a degree in Computer Arts/3d Modeling. He is currently employed by Electronic Arts Inc. and served as a User Interface Designer on Dead Space and Dante's Inferno. He is the Lead Interface Designer on Dead Space 2.
