    Dirt 3 is the latest installment in Codemasters' long-running Colin McRae Rally franchise. The game returns to the series' rally roots with dynamic weather, a career focusing on team-based racing, as well as introducing the freestyle event: Gymkhana.

    So I have completed all of the events in the first career event, including (but not all) a bunch of wins and 2nd place finishes. However the second event remains locked. What exactly do I have to do to progress? In Dirt 2 it was simple, as I went along it told me what I had unlocked. Same with the original Dirt.

    you probably need more points

    some races have the option of racing in different class cars

    try those to get some more points to unlock the other events.
