    unfortunately,
    complete AMD promotion key list leaked to internet
    (around 3 millions DIRT 3 keys)

    i assume that proper course action will be simply blacklist every key
    and remove them silently from accounts then tell users to re-register new ones

    or ... do nothing

    in short never put .sql database with game keys on webserver
    where simple missing .htaccess can leak it



    Holy shit! What the fuck was AMD thinking leaving them so unsecured? I feel bad for Codemaster. They must be furious. Don't post any keys here either.

    A friend of mine snagged one of those codes last night, but he thought they were a giveaway, not leaked. He was pretty stressed out about his Steam account possibly getting banned, but after sending a careful worded message/apology to Valve they just removed the game from his library and all was well.

    I redeemed a code on my account yesterday morning with no knowledge of the 9/5 information. A Russian approached me, and only wanted about $6 in Team Fortress 2 items for the code. I am absolutely irritated.
