    A divekick is a gravity-defying move found in many fighting games that allows an airborne fighter to propel themselves downward at their opponent at a high rate of speed.

    Overview

    Divekicks are commonly used offensively to both attack the opponent and apply pressure on them, but they can also be used to avoid projectiles or simply change a character's position onscreen.
