Divekick has been confirmed for a summer 2013 release for the PS3 and Vita, however a Steam release has not been 100% assured. If you'd like to see the game on Steam, click the above link and upvote it on Greenlight, which could help a lot for a Steam release alongside the Sony platforms.

Hmmm now I have to decide which version to get.

frankly im against paying for what should have been a free game ( and was prior to this ) distributed among fighting game community members to whom the joke is actually funny.

Milking my love for the lang has just added insult to injury IMO

next they will want $100000 for a new character

Yeah, what sort of assholes expect payment for months of hard work?

EDIT: Back on topic, I've upvoted it! Yay!

@starvinggamer: the same guys who got heaps of money using it as a promotional tool for their tournament and cross branding with that price gouging fight stick company i cant remeber the name ... which made moneys .. "it started as a joke" "now we want skullgirls $$$"

Done! Sadly I might get both the PS3 and PC version...

Also @envane you are a very sour person.

yeah you are right the game was was freely distributed between people inside the community...except it wast. It was brought to tournaments by Kiets, as a prototype game, to be demoed by pros in the hopes it could be kickstarted into a release.

Its sad people are taking this game as a big joke, it really isnt. Its a for real, serious fighting game. In fact, it is the One True Fighting Game.

@phished0ne: yeah i knnow i was off with the prior part , ive seen it on enough ppls streams to know it was available tho , mabye not freely or , widely .. but whatever .. im not calling for a boycott i was just voicing my personal opinion that its already been milked beyond the lifetime of the joke . now Foot Dive , the game i would be right behind.

It started as a passion project and the community loved it so much they found a way to turn it into a full-fledged quality release. And this upsets you?

#16 Edited by envane (1164 posts) -

@starvinggamer: no it doesnt upset me , im still not buying it , just like i dont buy pay per view barfights or exhibition matches with 2 black gentlemen footdiving eachother first to 10. they release that stuff on youtube for free eventually anyways.

im playing a character of an overly entitled fgc member , not the esports everythings fine whos mikeross fgc , get with the program.

I'd like to pay to have a full documentary featuring Dave Lang.

Done. The more people that play the game, the better.

I heard the words of the Lang on TNT yesterday. I did my civic duty and hit the greenlight button for Divekick and Papers Please
