I just got this game for Christmas and I love it. I'm an avid Guitar Hero/Rock Band fan, and DJ Hero is challenging and really rewarding.
 
However, the use of real world ads in the game (persistant advertising?) is one of the worst examples I've ever seen. Are there really raves and block parties with HUGE posters for The Book Of Eli and Bing.com out there?

Acticvison likes to make money. Ads make them money, so they whore it out so hard, I could even see anything past the stride bottle in GH 3

I was turned off by this too, especially the huge bing ad's. If they are gonna advertise that much the game should be free.

I want to see a Giant Bomb ad in there.

I haven't really noticed them.

Never even noticed any advertising in the game.  I live in L.A. though - advertisements are a part of life.
