I already did that, actually. Now I just need a wired controller that isn't a horrible bootleg monstrosity like the one I have.

Thanks! That's enough for me to justify trying it.

How does GMG have all these sales?

#5 Posted by Colourful_Hippie (2597 posts) - 3 months, 28 days ago

@ImmortalSaiyan: Maybe it's something to do with them being foreign cuz I always get a call about an overseas charge. Or maybe I'm being racist, anyways it's not like I need a justification for good sales from a site that has never given me problems.

@cloudnineboya: 23~24 pounds if that sale is available in your region.

They know their strength. They can't compete with Steam on the scale of their sales but they're great when targeting a small number of games.

Honestly, having been around for every seasonal sales Steam does i've got pretty much everything i could want in the way of bundles and collections. Now i just buy a game at a time and in the last year GMG has become my go to place for individual deals.

Man, this is tempting. On one hand, this game seems like it might go in a neat direction, on the other hand from what I've seen and what I played on the demo, it's a Devil may Cry games for those who didn't like the combat in the Devil may Cry games.

  1. They are a foreign company, so sometimes the currency translation can mean cheaper prices.
  2. They will sometimes buy keys for cheap from Amazon or wherever they can find them (if the keys are through Steam), then resell them through the website. This is why they sometimes run out of keys on certain games.
  3. They work directly with publishers, who sometimes will offer cheaper prices to them in order to bump up those numbers. GMG will include the coupon code to offer incentive of purchasing through their site, thus leading to them taking a slight loss in favor of people saying "oh shit, this game is super cheap on here, wonder what else there is."
