Donkey Kong for the Game Boy is very addictive
Donkey Kong for the Game Boy is like the original arcade game starting off with the same 4 levels and exact same gameplay. Then once you have beaten the levels a scene showing Donkey Kong taking the princess again, then you go into world 1 of 9. There are 110 levels in this game as opposed to the 4 in the arcade. Each level has you to search for a key using many puzzle elements to bring the key to a door to finish the level. You have to create ladders and hang on ropes while avoiding to get hit by enemies, or falling from to high. The games soundtrack keeps you going along with the game keeping you into it. With the tempo speeding up as the time starts to run out. There is so much to do in this game with 110 levels you will not be bored quick. The game isn't too hard, but some of the puzzles can get really tricky, thus requiring patience to pass each level. The control is the exact same as the arcade game, which plays very smooth and may seem fairly dated to some, but not much. For anyone with a game boy, I highly recommend checking this game out, it is probably one of the best original Game Boy games out there, and not to hard to track down for a copy.
