A couple of years ago I downloaded martianbuddy.com, knowing that it would eventually be taken offline.

For those who don't know, martianbuddy.com was a promotional page for an email spam corporation in Doom 3. There were two cabinets in the game that could be opened with a code found only at that URL. The first contained a chaingun while the second held a BFG 9000. It's later revealed that martianbuddy is just a cover for a handful of employees who are trying to spread the word about the dangerous experiments.

Well, Zenimax finally stopped paying the bill, and now the URL redirects to the Doom 3 BFG page on Bethsoft.com.

This is so sad... but thank you for archiving it. It looks like the Valiant Video Enterprises website for Manhunt went down. too. At least we have the Space Jam website...?
