Dopefish lives!
The Dopefish is described as the second dumbest creature in the universe. (a reference to the dumbest creature in the universe mentioned in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy novels, the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal) His thought patterns go, "swim swim hungry, swim swim hungry." The Dopefish will eat anything alive and moving near them, though they prefer heroes.
The Dopefish was created by Tom Hall.
Dopefish was one of the characters that appeared in Commander Keen IV. It has since then done numerous cameo appearances in other games.
