Hey guys,

I was thinking it would be fun to have a 5v5 match December 21st at 6pm. Anyone in?

EDIT: Time will be 6 pm PST (9 pm EST). Let me know if this is an issue and I can try to readjust depending on everyone's schedule.

Here is a link to my steam ID: http://steamcommunity.com/id/mjd046

Just add me as a friend.

6pm what timezone? I'm pretty ass at the game, but I guess I could join as long as the time isn't way off for me.

I'm confused on this. Is Dota 2 free? Is it download only? Steam? What's going on here.

It could be fun, but wouldn't EU players lag like all hell?

#7 Posted by CheapPoison (571 posts) - 1 year, 5 months ago

there might be enough giant bomb players on their to have an EU and a US one.

I'm definitely in on the EU one if the time is right.

6 pm PST (for US) to try to fit everyone's work schedule. It's probably a good idea to split up EU and US games. I'll try to set up the US game. Just post if you want to play.

I would be interested, just post an update on the time. I actually have that whole day off work and class, so I can make pretty much any time. Just will have to pull myself away from Star Wars for a bit...

I'm down. Just like everyone else has said, though, what time zone?

Last call for dota match. I will be sitting in lobby. Send me a message so I can invite you to the party

Still, it appears the amount of actual beta participants is comparatively low compared to the amount of interested parties. this can be pure speculation, of course, however a fast scout of some major DotA fansites suggests invitations are out to 2-3 % of the interested population. Those numbers are definitely below I expected when Valve said it might be ramping up invitations each few days.
