So i just finished the game and i can see where this ending would slightly be different? but is there any drastic changes that could have been made? like could the story stop short. or is there a good vs bad ending? i would like to know.

that's why I hate DA 2. the witcher 2 has 16 different ending, guys. throw DA 2 into trash can. Bioware made a huge fiasco game in their history. what a shame.

I figure we'll be paying for closure $7 DLC chunks at a time until DA3 comes out.

Just like ME2. And to be honest, I've been very happy with how that's worked out.

Now think of all the ways  you could have changed the world in Origins. You picked a ruler for Ferelden (you could have even ruled), you decided what to do with Loghain, you decided the way to deal with the archdemon. YOU could have completely screwed over a society of mages if you wanted.

I like the game, but is not better than DA: Origins, neither is ME2 to ME1 sure i may like the characters better in ME2 but it was meh. Since Bioware is doomed to streamline all their games i think it would be best if Kotor or Jade Empire just stayed dead.
