Now I'm not an expert or anything on dragon age, just started playing Dragon Age: Origins a week ago and so far am loving it. But was wondering what class you enjoyed  the most in the Dragon Age 2 demo? Now I'm usually a warrior type of guy, but I had the most fun with the Mage in the demo, his animations look awesome and I like how his skills worked. In the beginning of the demo he just seemed so badass. Plus I never liked the robes Mages usually wear so seeing him wear armor has given me hope there will be good armor for the mage as well.

I enjoyed making guys explode by jumping up in the air with my sword and smashing them to pieces.  Mage has some flashy attack animations.

The mage actually and I am normally a fighter guy all the way. I think I may play one 1st time around.

Yea, I was all about tanking with a warrior in Origins, but it looks like the Circle of Magi is the hip place to be in DA2.

Rogue was an absolute blast to play.

I love the mage but I hate the hero's brother so I'll be playing as a Warrior just so that he dies at the begenning.

Rogue with a bow. Archery is surprisingly awesome in Dragon Age 2.

The mage moves were pretty dope but I absolutely adored the sick stuff you could do as a rogue. At least on the PC version. On the console I felt more confident as a warrior.

Definitely enjoyed the mage the most but all the classes feel so much better then they did in Origins.

This thread is helping me so much. I always love to play the melee either tanking or DPS. I see a lot of people impressed with the mage and I also agree with not liking Robes over armor but that issue seems addressed too.    
 
 I need help from a DO expert. Do you think being the tank and aggroing everything and letting my NPC damage dealers take out the foes (switching to them when needed) would be fun and efficient or am I looking at a very boring approach?   Do you guys let an NPC tank and you sit back and nuke, or do  you not even use tanks? How do you play DOA and how do you think you will play DOA2?    

I played the demo twice, first as a roque and the second time as a warrior. I have never played as a roque before, but i had so much fun playing with it.

I'll play a warrior my first playthrough. Warrior is my favorite class in damn near every RPG (I can't think of one that I didn't want a warrior as my "main").  
 
That said, I really liked the Dual wield Rogue. Very very fun. 

Dual Rogue then Bow Rogue. 
playing the Mage felt seriously lame with the loss of the lightning powers, which was always the core of my Mages in Dragon Age.

I think they made every class fun; I actually enjoyed being a warrior for once!

Mage, then warrior, and lastly rogue. Rogue is just too weak for my liking.

Is anyone planning on using the Sword and Board or do you think it will be boring?

High level mage seems so cool. Both warriors are neat. I hated dual wielding rouges at first, i feel like I'm hardly doing any damage even behind people they seem like and do they actually teleport? Bow rouge was alright.

I normally play the mage equivalent in every RPG, but I think I'm going to play as a DW rogue this time around. I want Bethany to survive and the DW rogue seems infinitely more fun to play than in DA:O. Also, does anybody else think that Bethany resembles Natalie Portman?

I loved Warrior in DA:O, but I find the Rogue to be the most fun to play so far.

Attack animations for the mage is a lot more slick than it was in Origins so I'm definitely playing as a mage again in DA2.

Haven't played the demo, and I played a Mage in DA:O. Was planning on either Warrior or Rogue this time around. I want to do some serious damage in this game and wear awesome armour and use the big ass swords. Warrior fits that but if Rogue is more fun...?
 
Might have to give the demo a run to finally decide.

I'm having a tough time deciding a class to play. Rogue and mage were much more fun to play than warrior for me, but how my character is treated by others is very important to me. when i picture "the Champion of Kirkwall" I see a 2 handed, plate wearing warrior rushing into battle, not a mage sitting in the background behind everyone else in his party. Hopefully I'll be able to create a build where I can wear some decent armour and be a melee mage, along the lines of the first trailer.

Played a mage, dual-wielding rogue, and bow using rogue. Definitely had the most fun with the dual-wielding rogue, but I'm not a fan of the crazy exaggerated combat animations.

In order of awesomeness  2 handed warrior > Mage > Archer Rogue > Sword & Shield warrior > Double Sword Rogue . What can I say didnt liked the rogue as in DAO , not my type of play , except the archery really got pumped up by Bioware so I will play that class eventually.

Playing as a rogue was awesome. I usually pick the caster class in RPGs, but the way that a rogue felt was so far superior to how I felt playing as a mage. So I'll probably roll as a rogue in the main game.

Male mage then female dual weapon rogue. Just to complete all romances.

I've only played Warrior and Rogue, saving Mage for the full game. 
I think the Rogue was the most fun, both dual-wield and archery.

I like them all and will probably have a play-through of all three.

Rogue is awesome, loved the animations.

I really liked playing as mage, especially as a spirit healer. Just like DA:O, they have a lot of crowd control abilities, and being able to heal is always mandatory.
