well, i have a problem. i played DA:O, but i got it for XBOX 360 (don't laugh, i know, i wanted PC, but i got it as a gift, and before i knew it i had gone so far into the game that if i restarted it would take forever), but i want to play it on PC, so i have to buy DA:O on PC first in order to get awakening since it's an expansion (right?), but i don't have enough money to buy both, so i'm pretty screwed now.
did this happen to anyone else? i hope i'm not the only one.......

and really if you feel like you can justify pirating it, then do it. i mean you are supporting the devs with a legal copy already. but its only if you can justify it

People who say the console version will do just fine have no idea what they are talking about. 
 
On the PC it plays like the spiritual successor to the greatest WRPG ever made, Baldurs Gate 2. 
 
Get the PC version. Man, Steam had a sale on Dragon Age for PC this entire week, and it ended today. 

Another thing, is that console kiddies don't realize the word "mods" 
 
I've downloaded so many new gameplay tweaks, facemorphs, equipment,etc.. 
 
not to mention people make their own missions, so the game has a far longer replay value
