I bought Dragon Age : Origins on the premise I would pickup awakenings at a cheap rate after it had been out for a while.

But its on the PSN only no bloody disc in the UK

the "expansion" costs 31.99UKP on the PSN, screw that i'm not paying it

Any one know if I can import the disc from the USA?

Prob cost more than it would off of PSN though

Prob now just gonna complete origins and then trade it in

    :( :(

I play DA: O on the PC and Awakenings was not only on disc at GAME but it was £20 too. So you have indeed been screwed, I'd never play DA: O on my PS3 to begin with of course, so my personal preference has saved me £12.

What's the problem with it not being on disk?

Being an avid Steam user, not having to swap disks the entire time to play games is great.

I never understood this argument. Have gamers really gotten so lazy that swapping out a disk or not has become a selling point for people? Over the course of one play session, how many times are you going to swap out a disk anyway?

It's not a selling point, more a pleasant addition. Just like the fact that I don't have to buy extra shelves is. And yes I am lazy :-P
Though the laziness comes in more when the game is out and I rather download it then go out to a store and buy it.

I personally didn't understand the OP's problem with it being only available as a download, I don't see an argument against it other not having an internet connection.

I think what he was complaining about was that it cost so much on PSN and there it won't drop in price like a disc version will.
