    I know both of the glitches.  
    1. Go to party chest in Soldier's Peak drop off items save, load, take them out and they will be leveled up.
    2. Sell it to a merchant and buy it back.
     
    Do both of these glitches still work?  I am playing on PC with patch 1.2.

    Dragon Age wiki seems to indicate that it doesn't.   For the PC version, you need to use Mikhael Dryden:
     
     Mikhael can be used to upgrade most weapons and armor by selling the armor or weapon you wanted to upgrade and buy it back. (Special Items cannot be upgraded for example the Juggernaut Armor Set can't be upgraded) 

    This edit will also create new pages on Giant Bomb for:
