Dragon age could work as an animation but an anime I highly doubt.

Looks like some marketing people got their hands on Dragon Age... I can't see this being any good.

So Greg Zeschuk loves to bash Japanese developers for not trying new things yet he's OK with Dragon Age being turned into an anime? (yes, I realize he didn't necessarily had any say in this)
 
Also, this doesn't even technically qualify as anime seeing as no Japanese production companies are involved.

I hope this is a success for them so they can do more OVAs for other Bioware franchises.

Man, I hope its just as good (awful) as the rest of those Pretendo Japanese video game cartoons.

The whole idea of Dragon Age is that the main character is created by you, and has no other characteristic traits besides what you give him. I don't see how it can translate to a movie well.

I don't know what to think of this, I was interested until I read it was going to be anime, and I actually like anime. I don't feel DA will suit anime for anyone who has played the game, might be a hit for people who haven't though.

If anybody who is employed in any way by a movie company even thinks about making a video game into a movie then that video game movies is in the works.  I bet the janitor was cleaning the bathroom and he said, "Man, a Dragon Age movie would be awesome."  And the next thing you know a Dragon Age movie is "In the works."
