No idea, though I would suggest you buy it on the PC anyway. (If your rig can run it, that is.)

Hey, no worries bro. It happens from time to time.
I'm intrigued as to why there's a delay though, where are you from?

There's probably some dodgy contractual agreement between Bioware and Microsoft.

Or it could be that the game is harder to port to the PS3.

I dunno. It's probably something along those lines though.

Yes.  About time somebody else can see it for what it is.

i don;t think it has anything to do with microsoft from what i've seen.  i guess it has to be the team putting it on ps3 was just behind.  we, i am also getting on ps3, can only hope that they are taking their time to make it better.
    hopefully

Bioware has more experience with the XBOX, so they are probably spending the extra two weeks getting the PS3 version up to snuff. It'd probably be a similar situation if Naughty Dog were porting something to the 360

There's also a decent chance that EA proper was more involved with the PS3 port and that means more time to ship stuff back and forth.

If they are still in the process of debugging the PS3 version, that two week delay could easily become two months.  Keep your fingers crossed.

I doubt they'd delay it any longer considering they've just shown what looked like a pretty polished version of it at Gamespot.
Also whilst watching the guy specifically states the PS3 version is just behind the PC, so maybe they've actually attempted to really port it, it might have been a general comment to both but as he was showing the PS3 version he never mentioned it but still, an example I can think of is, OP, dragon rising, the PS3 version looks terrible, the PC and 360 look better, looks like it was badly done.

Bioware really isn't used to working with the PS3's hardware, so I wouldn't be surprised if they needed some extra time to sort things out.

it's so us ps3 players have time to MW2 for a week or so before DAO comes out.  Better delays than bugs

yeah, well I guess the delay can be that they are jus comming behind, but I also just watched the footage from the ps3 version over at gamespot and it looks really net, comparing it to the footage shown from the PC version its just as he says its not far behind! Would be fun if BioWare keeps up their hype in making good games and actually tries to flush out the most power of the ps3 so all versions will look as good as they can look on the three systems.
