    I actually really like the portal stone idea, being able to place your own fast-travel locations. Kind of ... expanding your frontiers into the unknown, and having to think about it a bit more. But there should be more stones given over more frequently, and it should be free to go between them.

    This most definitely. Also for all the lower level swarms of mobs to leave me the fuck alone as I'm constantly travelling back to the capital! Come on guys, I'm slicing you down with but a single hit... learn to walk away.

    I just wish enemies only respawned at certain points in the strories like the Gothic or RIsen games.
