What Pawn have you currently used that has really worked well for you? I'm using "John Carter" who is a Sorcerer... This dude rocks!

That is funny, my new main pawns name is Dejah Thoris. You should hire her too.
Once they hit a certain level the armor bonus is null and everyone just wants them to look "sexy" so they get hired it seems.

It's funny how once people go NG+, they just don't bother refitting their pawns with armor. My Rift has been full of bikini clad pawns all over the place.
Oh yeah, I started wearing what I thinks looked 'cool' rather than stuff that was the most effective by the time I hit maybe 22 hours; it's gotten so easy that I basically just do whatever and I'll still come out on top. I remember I spent a good while kicking ass dressed up in the nobility dress.
Hearing that the world still doesn't scale any further in NG+ is laughable, though... Not like I'm liking the idea of doing another playthrough anyway, but if the world was suddenly turned into Dark Souls during NG+, I'd have hoped I could finally play Dogma the same way I did during the first 10 hours when things were actually proving to be a challenge.

Agreed, it is sort of a bummer. I had a very cool look for my pawn that I wanted to keep throughout the game, but found most of her stuff just getting outclasses pretty early on. By the end of the game, I found some higher level versions of that stuff, but...unless you're planning on farming the Ur Dragon or the chambers at the end, it's sort of like...why bother?
I totally agree with you about NG+ though. I was expecting that to scale everything up to at least what the late game was. Totally disappointing that it just starts a regular new game. I wanna make a video thing that sort of shows off the best and worst of dragon's dogma, and to do so I need to get back to the mid game, and literally the stuff that took me 10 hours on the first play through, took me 45 minutes on the second. Kind of a bummer.

I agree with both of you, Capcom could have done so much to make leveling worth it. I wasn't to happy when I fought the Ur-Dragon and didn't get anything.
@BraveToaster: You don't get anything until he dies. Wait a little while then re enter the chamber and you will get a little cut scene showing you were the loot is for your effort in killing him.

But how will that work now that I'm in NG+? Will it show up when I make it to Everfall?
@BraveToaster: Eh, not sure, but I think you may have missed out on it if you already went to NG+.
@BraveToaster: When you started NG+ did you keep all your stuff? not only on you but that in storage?
@oulzac: Yes, you keep everything. Your equipped items will be found in the Inn at Gran Soren.
@BraveToaster: Nice. I was hoping I wouldn't have for farm all those combine-able materials again. I like to keep a big pile of herbs and stuff in storage so I don't have to go to shops when I make an Inn visit.
This pawn called Kuroneko from gamertag JustKamToo was really great currelty an off tank = PP
