    Dreamcast

    Platform »

The Dreamcast is the fifth and final console developed by Sega and the first of the sixth-generation of consoles to release. As the first 128-bit system, it was the first to offer truly arcade-quality 3D graphics. It is famous for being the first console to include worldwide online capability, its game library, and its unexpectedly short life span.

These new Dreamcast games caught my eye today. I was surprised to see PlayAsia are selling them both. I adore my shooters and may well get the first title, especially seeing as though I cannot even contemplate shelling out $700 to buy the original cart on Neo Geo.

Last Hope: Pink Bullets looks killer tough on the evidence of videos on Youtube. Positive reviews of both games can be found there.

It does look slow, and humble as well as colourful, but it's actually pretty cool from what I've heard on shmups.com.

It's awesome that Dreamcast games are still being churned out to this day, I hope we continue to see more :)

    Long live the Dreamcast!

The real shame is that most people here don't care.  They would rather be ripped off with buying gamecube 1.5, or a George Foreman Grill, or a brick.

Still, the Dreamcast is the Zombie console.  YOU CAN'T KILL THE FUCKING UNDEAD BITCHES.  SUCK IT DOWN MOTHERFUCKERS.  lol.  (Sorry, I hate lols but it justiies being a jerk).

    Heil Dreamcast!

As cool as it is, I honestly do not see the point in developing for the Dreamcast anymore. Release these on XBLA or PSN [hell, even the PS2 would be a better choice] and they'd get many more sales and hit a wider audience with no hit on graphics or gameplay. Plus you wouldn't have to use the rather crappy DC controller [yes, I went there] which is always a plus.
