Duke Nukem Forever, the long-awaited sequel to Duke Nukem 3D, was finally released in June 2011, after approximately fourteen years of development. The game was heavily panned for the low-to-abysmal quality of nearly every aspect of its presentation and design.

That's what killed this game, they showed that at an investor conference, and 70% of the guys said, "WTF, we did that already! Shut it down donkey!"

But it being cancelled has probably done them a favour, now they don't have to worry about it being a total flop. Instead we can all look back and say "What if...".
And how many times does the animation of him getting up and brushing himself off have to be used? But now I'm just nitpicking here.
I woulda played it.
