Holy Crap! Please let this be true!

I sometimes feel like Gearbox gets hit with every rumor for every single shooter (releasing or not) ever.

I approve of this...I think...
 
The Half-Life expansions were pretty bad though. But I guess any Duke Nukem Forever is better than no DNF. At least this way I don't have to keep hearing about the game.

Dude people have been saying that exact thing for a while, Duke Nukem Forever is not out until it is out. We must abide by that, or forever be disappointed.  "

hey gear box dont take 9 years please.  Amd i hope this game is just amazing and not shit.

When PAX rolls around and we get the Duke Nukem Forever announcement from Gearbox, or whatever the plan is. I will shit my pants.

Aye, suspicious I it is. I fully expect something. Those assets cost money, and people don't like wasting money. And we can all use a good Duke game. "

Ughhh I hope not.  I liked Duke okay when it came out years ago, but GearBox is capable of such better franchises, even the idea of them just making a new one altogether.

Plausible. Much more interested in a "tell-all" book/documentary about its development history than the game itself, especially with Bulletstorm in the pipeline.

If this is true, i'm a very happy man.

I don't know how I feel about this. I love Duke and all, but Gearbox? I was looking forward to the game being made by 3D Realms.

I rather have them work on Borderlands 2, there's gold in that franchise.

Lord, please let this rumor be true just so we can hear Jeff freak the hell out again.  Actually, who would freak out more:  Jeff or Ryan?

In conversation I just said the game is going to be bad, I know it, you know it, Take Two knows it. But maybe, just maybe, if they can make a killer multiplayer portion, good enough to retain players, with meaningful player growth like perks, perhaps people can forgive the single player. But then Gearbox is at the helm, so you can forget that.

Oh god. Who keeps doing this.

On a side note, Gearbox announced the 4th DLC for Borderlands today.

Or they could concentrate on Borderlands 2...maybe? please?
