So yeh... I just played retail DNF.... the world is coming to an end :P

Started up the game, which began with the same sequence that the demo did. Right after I got beyond that sequence, about 10 minutes into the game, I seem to have experienced a bug which does not let me advance further. So I'm still not convinced that the game is real.

so whats the word on the game? Gaf is saying its quite a bit better than the demo, "proving" the demo was a old ass build. Any confirmation to this?

Tried it over live which wasn't without its difficulties given it technically doesn't come out here in the UK until today, but yep. It (just about) worked. And that's all I have to say about the multiplayer....

I'm off to buy mine today, aswell as a copy of inFamous 2 that also comes out in the Uk today.

Dont get too excited, played the first 6 levels and unless you are nostalgic there is nothing special here.

Played the game for about 2 hours yesterday. Its not the best game out there but neither is it the worst game. Getting a strong sense of nostalgia while playing it.

Yeah, the game is already out in Europe.

I hope it's a game that CANNOT be finished. Like the last part of the game didn't compile right and it bricks everything that plays it.

I get the feeling it's going to get 6-8's here in the US. With that said, I'm going to buy it and Alice:MR when I get some monies.

The more I play this game, the more I realise the last delay was merely to release it while the majority of the world's game press was too preoccupied with E3 to get reviews out....

If you feel the need to see this thing through to the end like I do - rent DNF.
