Looks like Slash000 redeemed his receipt.

One more weird thing to add to Duke. Slash000, who has had the game reserved since 2001 according to this receipt, has finally redeemed his pre-order from Gamestop. 10 year pre-order... god damn.

I've been waiting to see one of these.

Suprised the Gamestop he pre ordered it from still was there after 10 years to be honest.

I was actually wondering if that guy got it yet.

Where's the smart-ass with the Bagages receipt?

That'd be more believable.

Look at all the bullshit they added on to the receipts in the past decade.

I'm pretty sure in 2001 the Gamestop here was an EB Games. haha...

I can't believe he actually held onto that receipt for ten years.

And even on the old receipt it screams on the bottom their bottom line "DON'T FORGET TO TRAED UR GAEMS!!!11!!" -_-

He should just frame that damn thing.

#13 Posted by Napalm (9020 posts) -
@Demoskinos: He should frame the old receipt, the new receipt and the game next to in in a nice package.

I hope he got some bonuses.

Judging by the average intelligence of Gamestop employees, he probably didn't even notice the receipt was 10 years old.

They should have gave him a standing ovation or just give him a second copy.

Gearbox should send him something for keeping the receipt even when the media said DNF was officially cancelled.

Perhaps they should send him the terribly overlooked steel balls missing from the BoS edition.

Seriously, after that long...?  It'd be sad to see him ranting about how horrible it is.

Not really. A Gamestop at a mall I live near has been in operation for well over a decade. (Granted, it started as an Electronics Boutique before the merger, but still, the store has been there in one form or another for that long.)

And Software Etc.

I remember Gamestop, Funcoland, EB Games, and Software Etc being within a 2 mile radius of each other where I used to live at.

I would've kept it framed honestly.

Also, Gearbox apparently sent him some swag.
