I didn't. Going to wait for bargain bin status.
Duke Nukem Forever
Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Jun 14, 2011
After approximately fourteen years of development, the heavily infamous sequel to Duke Nukem 3D was finally released, in which the macho Duke must damper yet another alien invasion.
So, did you fork out 60 bucks for Duke Nukem Forever?
Nope, even as a huge fan of the, er... original trilogy? I even warned friends against buying it, but they didn't listen, and now they're regretting it.
I love Gearbox, but this just isn't them.
Absolutely not. I don't think I'd buy it for free. I also don't think it's necessarily as bad as everyone seems to make it out to be, but it's still not a game I care enough for to actually ever play. Too many good games out there.
I actually spent $110 on the Balls of Steel edition and do not regret it at all.
To add to this:
I am an Old School Duke Nukem fan, and have been waiting for this since I was 8. I got a cool little Duke Statues and some random duke stuff to share with my other Duke 3d obsessed friend. The game itself, well, not great. It is fine for a single play through, and I am glad to have played through it, I just never want to play through it again.
I did. So what? Wanna fight about it?
And I've played it a lot more than Portal 2, which I have yet to beat.
So yeah it's more fun to me personally than P2.
Just sayin.

I would rather watch my balls play tennis than buy that game.
Hit the nail on the head.
Yeah but... I'd give away any game to witness my balls play a sport...
@TekZero said:Yeah, and the funny thing is, I wouldn't spent $20 to play DNF.Dude, I don't spend $60 on any game. I usually play games that are at least a year or two old. I get em all at $20 because I don't see the point in buying a game at full price when if you're a little patient, the game will drop in price.I'm exactly the same.
@MariachiMacabre said:What about full contact foot ball? Or knife fighting? That's a sport in some places. Might be kind of pain full...Yeah but... I'd give away any game to witness my balls play a sport...@Claude said:

Nope, work did though so I could play through it and then give my opinion on it. I couldn't even get through the game before I gave it to someone else and said "You review it" . Man I wish I was 8 again, back when Duke 3D was "awesome" in my stupid little mind

That would at least be exciting.
Nope. I was planning to get Duke on day one but that Randy Pitchford sheister turned me off of it with his constant hyping of Duke Nukem Forever. He gave off that Peter Molyneux stench...you know the kind where someone is trying WAY too hard to sell you something and promises things with all of the sincerity of a career politician. Thankfully I went with my instinct and was apparently saved from a true turd. I'll try the demo when it comes out for the PC to those of us who didn't buy into Pitchford's bs and preorder Duke.
