I bought Forever on Steam when it was $9 or whatever. I should probably just play it at some point.

It's wrong that you have the S rank to begin with

I'll play it. Bought duke on launch day and have no regrets its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be especially if your playing the PC version like god intended.
God had nothing to do with it. I did yell "JESUS CHRIST" a few times while playing it, but not in a good way.

I shitty port job is not Gods will.
Wait a minute, I'm an atheist...
As a life long Dr Who fan i find this kind of sad. The Doctor should be refrenced in much better games, like Saints Row 3.

@ShaggE: They published it and Gearbox and 2K probably have a contract where Duke games have to be published by 2K. Bad sales would equal to 2K telling gearbox to move on! I think it was Patrick who did an article where the head of 2K said Duke sales where good and they will probably do a sequal but forever was so bad that fans would probably not want to buy another duke game.
Yes, but 2K didn't make a Duke game is what I'm saying. Gearbox barely even made it.
to put it in perspective DNF is going for £9 at my local game station and £14 for the collecters edition. also strangers wrath HD comes out about then so NO THANK YOU
They should just release every single level ever created for this game, from the Quake 2 engine days and on, as DLC. I want to see what the game was in 98. I want to see what is was in 2001.
Is it using the same engine? Will it have the same crappy gunplay and most basic mechanics that felt less like a throwback and more like a game designed before Half-Life came out? I mean, at least with Minerva's Den, the core of Bioshock 2's mechanics were good, even if the surrounding content was less than stellar. DNF doesn't even have that.But... what if this single player add on is actually good guys?
Is this the DLC that was made totally in house by Gearbox, with nothing from it being from 3D Realms? I might check it out if that's the case, just to see who was really to blame for the rest of the game. My guess is it was 3D Realms, and this might actually be playable if it's all Gearbox produced.
Hang on a second!
So, is this gonna be game content made from scratch by Gearbox, not touched-up 3D Realms stuff? If so, it might not be awful!
Duke nukem forever was pretty awful so I don't see me buying this. Pretty crazy that they are releasing dlc for the game now.

I enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever, I'll get this DLC. I didn't like Bastion, not one bit, but you don't see me complaining about the new DLC for that game. Live and let live.
You liked DNF and hated Bastion? what's it like to be so backwards?
Not gonna bite, sorry.
I enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever... played like something out of 2004, but I liked games in 2004 more than I like games today, so it worked out well for me. And yes, I thought it was funny.
I'll be buying this... looking quite forward to it.
Really don't understand why they keep pushing more stuff for a game everyone had agreed is total garbage.
I definitely agree the game gets a bad rap and isn't nearly as bad as lot of people seem to think it is. Hell, I got suckered into paying $60 for MW3 on Steam and to be honest, I probably had a better time playing Duke Nukem Forever.
I didn't like the game, except the boobies those were fine... does this have boobies?
Can you like a game but think it's boring? it was like I was playing a flash game or something that you find on the internet and play for like 2 mins then you're like I never want to do this again but with this game I had to play for like 7 hours just so I can know how it ends for curiosity I didn't enjoy playing it, I enjoyed looking at it once or twice.
It's just I've never played a game that I didn't see what other people like about it, some people say the shooting is good, I think it's poop, maybe it's mouse and keyboard vs controller or something idk... I can't see it. This post is too long sorry.

I wanted to make playing through the game a taste of how painful and long it was to actually create the thing. After controller tossing my way through "Insanity" I believe I succeeded.
Apparently he doesn't know what an opinion is.@Agnosticwatermelon said:

For some strange reason though, I will totally play some more Duke Nukem Forever.

You at least have to admit that objectively Bastion is a far higher quality game than DNF. I get enjoying it ironically, but mechanically it is broken.
@sideshow: Hahaha.. But lack of evidence can mean that it doesn't exist, just like leprechauns, invisible pink unicorns, and the celestial teapot that circles Marsh (not). The human body has been and still is a very interesting object, and if such an important thing and mysterious thing as a soul existed inside us, and that it "flew away" after death, I am postitve that we'd known it to be true by now if so. - Of course all of that is complete nonsense, after death, we simply decompose and rot away/are getting eaten by smaller animals and insects, and to be perfectly honest.. I see that as a great thing. Being food or a home for the smaller life is something to be proud of.
