For those of you who've played through DNF, is it worth playing? Side-note, I've never played a DN game before.

If you've never played a Duke Nukem game before. NO. Unless you really want to.

If you're set on playing it, make it the PC version, it is amazing in comparison to the console versions.

You have to play it. As a person of the video game culture, you just have to play it.

Do you like crude humour and pop culture references?
Do you like boobs/mosters with boobs/walls covered in boobs?
Do you like shooting stuff from a first person perspective?
Do you like linear, checkpoint based games?
Do you like having regenerating health?
Do you like the occasional puzzle?

Do you want to be able to say that you played *that* game?

It looks like it could be 10 bucks in a week. I guess that is when you can play it, being the curiosity that it is.

if you like linear, checkpoint based, no frills FPS with with a roid popping, sexist ego maniac then sure try it out. it sure as hell isn't worth $60 though.

I usually use Uncle Stubb's BBQ sauce but peanut butter should do the trick.

I feel like regardless of the end quality, I owe it to Gearbox just because they had the sack to publish the damn thing. It does look pretty shitty though...

If you have never played a DN game before, then i would say STAY AWAY!

Duke Nukem 3D has a very fond place in my heart, but so far DNF has not done it for me, the game feels like it was meant for the xbox 360 launch and not 2011. The Xbox version has horrible loads times and even worse when you die. Its also very punishing.

On a good note, i do find it funny and the game is a decent length.
