Dust is amazing. The only drawback I would list is that the combat appears pretty shallow and button-mashy at first. Just give it some time though and it opens up a bit more. I, personally, had an amazing time trying to stay air born for as long as possible. The story, both in how it is told and thematically, are super solid. The content is actually quite mature and will, as it did me, catch you off guard plenty of times.
Great game if you're a fan of the genre or not.
There are so many great things in Dust: An Elysian Tail that deciding where to begin made my head hurt. It surprises me nearly every year with Xbox Summer of Arcade that my favorite games this generation and even Game of The Year came from a small $15 package made by a small group of people or primarily a solo effort like Braid, and Bastion. Dust: An Elysian Tail is no different from this phenomenon and could very well be the best game out this year.
