Uncharted 2 was good, but not winning 3 awards good.
Also no Last Guardian. Although to be fair, no gameplay whatsoever was shown.

Even though Sony's EyeToyMoteWand was only a tech demo, I was way more impressed and excited about it then the glitchy WABAM! nonsense that was Natal. (Just what I personaly thought, not saying it's fact).

I think Natal edged it out because it's a little more radically different.

@ParanoidFreak: I suppose you're right. I just like the idea of actualy having what you wanted the Wii to be. The archery bit and the sword and shield thing excited me quite alot. Moreso then the breakout game or seeing the bottom of a shoe.

@Scooper:  Ya, I'm more excited to get my hands on Sony's wand things at the moment.

That list is very "meh" except for Uncharted 2.

"Best Original Game" does not make sense. But Scribblenauts is most original, yes. Uncharted 2 is looking mighty fine so I support its awards...even if Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction are probably my games of the show.

I honestly don't really want to buy any of those, at least at full price.
Where's Conviction?

Ahh... who cares.  It's not like the people who choose those are gamers (it's more so people from the New York times, etc. although G4 does get a vote)

@SmugDarkLoser: You realise it's voted for by a vast majority of the "major" video game publications right. I.e. Gamespot, Kotaku, Joystiq, GameTrailers, 1Up, etc.

*sigh*.

I thought it was a really good list personally. Interesting to see Split/Second win the racing category.

Really?   I'm basing this on 1up (listenup) said.  They said none of their cast got to have hands on with certain games because it was judges only.

Suprises me then, because this list could have been generated without going to E3 (besides Split Second and Scribblenauts).  Sounds very pre-determined.

@SmugDarkLoser: The judges are usually picked from those sites get2sammyb mentioned . I think Sam Kennedy was judge for 1up. I think Jeff was a judge too, but I'm not sure.
