Giant Bomb: Live From Los Angeles - Day Two
i'm lovin' this video podcast stuff!
you guys should do this more often, for the regular podcast, just throw a camera in for fun and Ustream it.
" Great, people outside the US gets screwed by Ustream again. Is there seriously no alternative service that can actually keep all the video recorded? "shame it messed up - seems if there is a break in the streaming it starts again recording over what was streamed before - but it is only a round table, you will lose very little listening to the audio only for the first hour.
" why does the recorded version start like half way? "They lost the first hour of video. Listen to the podcast for that part, then switch over.
Plus, it's not made by the same people, Wii controls for FPS games are janky as hell, and putting a Daniel Craig model in this game is fucking retarded.
I get that people who loved that game over 10 years ago are kind of jazzed about this, but maybe they should instead put their energy into making a new Bond game that people can stand, with the same core elements that people loved about Goldeneye, instead of another goddamn rehash (which seems to be what Nintendo excels at).
" @TheHT said:1:02:20 is around when the machine-gunned story starts." @Downloaded said:What parts were worth watching? "Probably the only thing worth seeing is John Vignocchi's getting-machine-gunned emote, but it's REALLY worth seeing. Damn 3 seconds had me in stiches. "" I'm out of the country right now and my internet is too crappy to be able to stream any of these broadcasts live :(. I have to resort to listening to the audio-only podcast. Woe is me. "
" @Lethkhar: I think Jeff has a pretty good point, especially considering the way Nintendo announced this game, with that stupid "focus group" video of kids talking about how much they love Goldeneye. No matter how much nostalgia you have for that game, shooters have gotten better since then, and this is not the revelation it once was. "
I agree with everything you said here - I had actually posted many of these points elsewhere throughout when these announcements were made. Great post.
