Ehh, these skylines seem like they're getting more hype than they deserve. I'm loving the art style in this game though.

Looking great, I hope they make a demo like they did for Bioshock.

I don't know if this game will be any good, but I truly appreciate the attention to detail Ken and his team have put into the backstory.

Is it wrong that my favourite thing about this game is Elizabeth?

Why don't they make real roller coasters like?

Some pretty hardcore jumping STRAIGHT THROUGH RAILS there.

Damn, it's pretty telling that even just watching a short video when he basically fell to catch the skyline at the end I felt a sense of dread because of the rate at which you were falling and the insanity of both the angle of the jump and the other skyline.

What looks awesome about the skyline system is that it looks like there's definitely room for people to really master it and pool off some crazy stunts.

holy crap, that view of the city at 2:19!
BigChiefon June 10, 2011 at 12:32 p.m.

You know, one thing I think is neat about Infinite is how damn colorful it is. A lot more that most games, especially shooters these days. Also, digging that background music they used here. Hope that's representative of what's in the game.

Wasn't that skyrail system in Metroid Prime 3's Skytown?

SleepyDoughnuton June 10, 2011 at 12:39 p.m.
I'm really glad they had a fictional backstory justification for this retardedly dangerous transportation system.

What's up with the "ghost" carriage at 00:47?

Reminds me of Giant Bomb's first reaction to the Bioshock Infinite announcement and joking about continued Ayn Rand references.

Vinny: (Imitating Booker DeWitt) "I'm going to take on this world on my own. Take me to the skies, where I'll build my kingdom."

Jeff: "My sky train!"

Vinny: "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, I say! To the sky!" That's the intro, I don't know if you guys saw it ...
