I feel like there's going to be a drought of info until Thursday, when all the pre-E3 "E3 trailers" come out, and then June 7th.  So, for now, what are your general thoughts on what's about to unravel? Any anticipated games? Specific conferences you'r excited for? Surprises you're expecting or hoping for?

I demand interesting new IPs

I'm really excited to Sony's NGP/PSP Vita/ PSP 2. I'm hoping for a announcement and it being the last console I get before college. I'll watch all of the big 3 but I'm not expecting much from MS. Probably the same as the last 2 years. "Heres halo, gears, and forza and kinect! O and CALL OF DUTY!!! I'd actually think of getting a 360 if they announced more games like Alan Wake but they wont... So yea... Nintendo will get the new console shown but I hope they do it differently. Last year they showed and released a Kirby game and Donkey Kong game. If they can do maybe a Metroid and another first party game right on launch of that caliber (something like wii sports is excluded for this despite its popularity.)

persona 5's going to be at TGS, why would they announce it at e3

I'm intrigued by the Nintendo conference to see what's real about Cafe and what's not.  I'm also interested in seeing what titles they show off for it.
 
Beyond that?  I can't really say I'm excited for too much.  Maybe Square Enix will show Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but I doubt it'll be in any playable form.  Though I would love it if Capcom revealed Darkstalkers 4.

I would too, but I think the chances of that game getting announced are slim simply by virtue of the fact that Capcom already has a pretty high-profile fighting game (SFXTekken) on schedule for next year.

For some reason I can't get hyped for E3 at all. I guess I ran out from getting let down so many times.
 
I guess I wanna find out more about Nintendo's new system, but I know I probably don't have the money to buy it at launch anyway.

@Hailinel: I don't think TvC took any heat away from SFIV, being on a different platform and all. Darkstalkers is pretty darn similar to SF, though. And then there's Namco's game. Granted, it won't be a SF game proper, but two SF branded games in the near future (three, if you count AE) is still a bit much. My guess is, if Darkstalkers ever does come, it will come next E3.

EA -> Battlefield 3 -> Multiplayer

This is probably the first time in a very long time that I'm genuinely excited about Nintendo's conference. 

Would be great if Microsoft wouldn't focus all their energy on Kinect (which they will). I guess it'll be interesting to see more info on Nintendo's new console, but my interest in that is mild to be honest. Any form of news regarding a new console from Microsoft or Sony would be awesome, but that won't happen.
 
I'd love to get more info on XCOM, since it's been quiet about it for so long. The rest of the big hitters ( Skyrim, Arkham City, Rage, etc etc) are released this year anyway so any info on those would just be icing on the cake. Would be cool to see some big announcements; games no one expects that have been in development for long without anyone knowing about it. Personally I'd be a very happy guy if there were some news of a Culdcept released in EU for X360, since the last time they just gave EU the middle finger. And yeah, of course I'd like to see a new Persona game for X360 as well. :)
 
Will certainly be interesting to see what happens over there!

Anticipation is very low after how terrible E3 was last year. But I really enjoyed it the year before that. 
 
Wouldn't mind a few surprises.

I don't want Half-Life 2 episode 3 because I lost any interest in that game.

I just want all the enthusiast press that's going to be covering E3 this year and who have been warriors of many E3s of the past to remember that the fans of video games who have never attended an E3 love this shit. Love it.

I want the companies to fuck my face with sales figures and tell me how much they have revolutinised the industry and that they are bringing something new to the audience that trust them.

Really there's no news I'm desperate to hear. Though a new Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer would be nice, and maybe another one of those Old Republic CG trailers. Other than that I'm mostly in it for something to do next week.

Also pipe dreaming for P5 info, too bad we'll have to wait for TGS for that (if we get anything about it this year at all).
