The nineteenth annual Electronic Entertainment Expo took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 11-13, 2013.
What is your dream game to see in E3 this year?
Open world RPG, Modern day. Dinosaurs, Monsters, Magic. Robots. Aliens. Deep story and characters. Online co-op.
A new Zone of the Enders for next-gen consoles could be fantastic. Other than that I'm mostly waiting for a new Forza.
A new Pokemon snap for the Wii-U. But i would take a 3DS version.
- A new, proper Ratchet and Clank game. Or at least some fun action platformers, the PS2 era way.
- A good multiplayer focused first person shooter to take over from Call of Duty, Halo and Battlefield, COD is stagnant, I never really liked Halo and I don't care for way you are independent on you team in Battlefield.
- A new RPG in the style of Alpha Protocol, Deus Ex or Mass Effect, in a realistic setting.
Dragon's Dogma 2 with co op
Yes, and also for PC since that's the only way I'd be able to rope any of my stupid friends into playing it with me.
ok, seriously... how about a warhammer 40k rpg that is focused on command skills, where i can advance up the ranks gaining squad control, then platoon control, then army control, with pause-based / turn-based combat, where i do not have to unite the galaxy against a common foe, but merely have to achieve battle honors / genocide of a species before my inevitable demise. And, most importantly, i can choose to play ANY race/army i want.
I think I'd like some more FPNSs (First Person Non-Shooters) - I don't mind what kind either; platforming like Mirror's Edge, exploring like Proteus, punching like Zeno Clash, and pants-wetting like Amnesia are all a-ok with me.
Oh man, I feel like such a dweeb - BUT...
- Persona 5
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII
>_>
Yeah, I know - but I'm definitely looking forward to more info on Infamous Second Son, so at least that's realistic.
Alan Wake 2
Mirrors Edge 2 (maybe more in the style of Uncharted/Tomb Raider 2013 in the platforming being a tad easier to pull off)
Project Gotham Racing 5
Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts 2
Something new from Naughty Dog (as in a top budget game, but maybe not a new Uncharted as I think that series is set for a while now with the end of Uncharted 3)
New IP's
Oh, and Half Life 3

Is the game coming out next month not new or Naughty Dog enough?
Something on the PS4 that actually excites. The games focus they showed off in February was awesome. The games they showed did nothing for me
A sequel to Prince of Persia '08

Sorry I should clarify, something for the PS4 from Naughty Dog. I have got the Last of Us on pre-order and look forward to playing that. I just want that game for the next console cycle that was like Uncharted for me when I think "wow I got to get me some of that". The E3 with Uncharted 2 was what pushed me into buying a PS3.
Really looking forward to seeing what Bioware is doing with Frostbite 3. Thus far, Bioware's D'n'D-panel-style world building is their greatest weakness, and I am very excited to see how their push for more open and organic feeling worlds will be going. Best case scenario - Dragon Age III on next gen will be my *dream game* this E3.
As for pulling a game out of my ass kind of dream game? A Battlefield-style combined arms online multiplayer game set in the Warhammer 40k universe by Relic with fully destructible environments and tons of crazy units and vehicles, whilst adding hundreds of AI-controlled cannonfodder units to the fray (you are not a real Space Marine, unless you are mowing through a horde of lowly orcs with ease) - a mix of BF's combined arms genre with DOTA in 3rd person - and its campaign is a follow-up to 2011's Warhammer 40k: Space Marine - the most underrated game of the current generation. Or Square-Enix finally getting its head out of its ass, and following up Squaresoft's SNES classic Secret of Mana with a worthy spiritual successor (Versus XIII or whatever it is now looks like it could be it). I have been waiting for that to happen since roughly two decades.
A proper next gen/PC version of GTA V would be pretty damn amazing too, but that's more of a certainty rather than something I need to dream up, though it will likely not be announced until some months after its initial release in September (unless gen 4 is out by then, and GTA V is ready to go multiplatform right away, which incidentally could be the real reason for its delay).
Maybe a new Deus Ex ? It probably won't happen because of Thief... but I can't think of anything else.
Even though its coming the month after, I'd like to see some more Civ V BNW gameplay footage. Preferably one that shows the last two unknown new leaders. I need something more to hold me over while I wait for its release. Other than that, I want to see if Dragon Age 3 looks like its headed in a direction I can appreciate or not. For something wild and unlikely, I'd like to see a new Left 4 Dead and a new Deus Ex game. Those last two aren't going to happen, but a man can dream. I guess I'll also be happy if any new strategy games for pc get shown. I'd even take XCOM dlc or something along those lines. Oh and I'd be lying to myself if I didn't say Persona 5.
Next gen exclusive games should be interesting, but I don't plan on paying much attention to the ones that aren't also coming out on pc. I won't be picking up one of the new consoles for at least another year or two, so no point in teasing myself.
That new, gritty third-person shooter of the Fucked Up Wizard blasting monsters to bits with his wand, while drinking up mana potions due to his addiction...or at least that's what I've hoped for since hearing that phrase in Bullestrom QL. But seriously speaking...I don't know...Half-Life 3, I suppose! To the bitter end.
I want Sony's conference to open with the Velvet Room music. All the lights are off, when suddenly the screen shows a Vita and PS4. The Title Card for Persona 5 shows up, and a release date is announced. Kaz walks out, throws copies of Half-Life 3 at everyone, everbody walks the dinosaur.

Half-Life 3.
Any answer other than this one is an objectively wrong answer.
Skies of Arcadia 2, a new Little Big Adventure or a sequel/reboot/remake for the Legacy of Kain games.
The same game it is every year: Zone of the Enders 3.
I know my hope will only ever bring me pain, but I hope on nonetheless.
The most exciting thing for me that I know that's going to be there is The Evil Within. But as for my dream selection of surprise reveals:
- All new video games!
- Dead Rising 3
- Deep Down being unveiled as Dragon's Dogma: Deep Down.. All the D's.
- Something to do with Naughty Dog. They've got a lot of the Uncharted 2 team working (and finished with) The Last of Us, so I would like to assume their other team where gearing up for a new IP to début on the PS4 alongside inFAMOUS and Killzone.
- But yeah mostly new stuff please.

This. Without the co-op. It would ruin the entire point of the game.
