Why is there a bow tie wearing giraffe at E3?

So apparently Spike TV brought a giraffe to E3. I remember Geoff Keighley twittering something about some giraffe related thing but I don't think it was ever explained WHY?

Has this anything to do with anything game related? I just don't understand anymore...

Because fuck it man.

Because would you rather have a giraffe wandering around E3 in the nude?

Put a monicule and a top hat on it, then I'll be impressed.

If thats in the general E3 show floor, will a giraffe even be cool with all the flashy lights and generally loud noise being pumped at it?

Am I the only one uncomfortable about this? Usually don't bother to much about these sorts of things but I kind of feel for the Giraffe. Can't be the most comfortable environment for him.

Also, are Spike TV and Geoff going mad? Hopefully the animal isn't there for the entirety.

I'm pretty sure that giraffe has give up on life.

It looks sad, although that might just be a natural giraffe expression. Also, giraffes are dangerous.

Kind of hope the giraffe goes mad and kicks Geoff up the backside. Probably do him some good, the dude as slowly gotten weirder and weirder.

So I suppose these are the short-arsed, over-dressed giraffes we'll have to put up with next gen? All style and no substance. Fuck you, Microsoft.

Yeah, seriously. Who thought this would be a great idea?

Edit: Oh, it's Spike TV.

Because of the new Call of Duty game.

Call of Duty: Giraffe Warfare. "It's a long way up."

The giraffe is probably hell of uncomfortable, but man he(mb she? I DUNNO) is looking sharp. Also I would want the giraffe to periodically photo bomb the Spike TV set during live shows, that would be awesome.

They're saving it for the next Modern Warfare game. The marines lost the dog in combat so they grabbed the next best thing, turns out it is awesome and can see over tall walls and such.

That's the sidekick for Battlefield 4. The true emotional riveting tale of man and man's eightieth best friend, the giraffe.

Oh wait, that's just Don Mattrick.
