I was recently thinking about how weird the word Earth is. If this planet is the root of humanity then we should have a cool name for it. Sign here if you want to change Earth's name!

Oh, and I don't really have any alternative names, so I guess we could makes this a suggestion for different names too.

Actually, "Earth" is pretty cool when you think about it. We could have done worse, considering we didn't even know what it was when we named it.

I like it known as Terra, first heard that in MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat and wondered what it meant since clearly they were on the Moon overlooking Earth in the finale cinematic but they called it Terra... thought it was a sci-fi thing until reading up on it. Love the term.
