I hope there isn't ads in the forums section, that would SUCK.
Eidos Interactive
Company »
Eidos was an English based developer and publisher behind such games as Tomb Raider, Age of Conan, and Hitman. Since a buyout from Square Enix, the company is now know as Square Enix Europe.
So I take it Eidos wont be advertising on this site.
im sure they will stick to there guns and not let advertiseing influence there scores but i could see me haveing advertisement
While the whole situation sucked when it happened last year, it would suck even more if the editors on Giant Bomb would sink so low as to review a game without an open mind. I come here because I respect the integrity of the people involved, and if they were to automatically give an Edios game a bad score just because it's an Edios game, well then I would lost a bit of respect for them.
Jeff wouldn't give an eidos game a 0 or do anything else to taunt them. If the eidos thing is true he would propably just not post anything about their games. He is a professional reporter and would not do something like that.

I don't particularly believe that Eidos is banned from advertising on this site...If Eidos wants to advertise on this site they'd have to bid just like everyone else...why turn them down? Because of a dispute in the past with gamespot? LOL That does not even make sense.
Eidos still publishes quality games, btw

So why would Jeff want to advertise their product?

I highly doubt Giant Bomb is going to turn down money from any Publisher, it just does not make any sense from a business standpoint....that's like slamming your doors on thousands of dollars...Eidos will just have to accept the fact that Giant Bomb is going to review the game the way they see fit. The only situation I can see arise from any of this is Eidos not submitting a bid @ all.

"Money and advertising helps people forget. The end game is to make money. "
Erich Fromm's " To have or To be" read it
I bet he would. Money is money. He would just make it clear that they can go fuck themselves if they try to pull any shit.

" Eidos Interactive was bought by Square Enix Europe and will probably lose their publishing name next year. So, this point is mute. "
