There are good agents, like Elite Beat Agents and bad agents, like Agent Smith.

Alien

Extraterrestrials appear in many video games in a variety of styles. Sometimes they're evil, sometimes they're benevolent, and sometimes they're very similar to humans.

Bonus Stage

Bonus levels, rounds, or stages give players a chance to gain extra points, powerups, or lives. Occasionally bonus stages will play completely different than the rest of the game, like as a slot machine or pinball minigame.

Breast Bounce

The deliberate animation of breasts, meant to titillate as a means to conform to more realistic physics.

Bromance

A condition in which two male characters are socially close, but not sexually or romantically, and are often partners.

Cats

Feline animals commonly kept as pets. There are many different breeds and varieties.

Cheerleader

Games that feature cheerleaders. Whether they be girls with pom-poms or burly Japanese men, they know how to get people motivated.

Combo

Typically found in fighting games, combos are a series of strung-together moves.

Dance Fighting

The process of fighting, but with dance.

Dancing

Dancing is the movement of a body, usually rhythmic and to some kind of music. A lot of times, it happens between two people and may be romantic.

Difficulty Level

Sometimes you want a challenge, sometimes you wanna coast.

Dog

A dog is an animal, of which there are estimated to be 400 million of in the world. Said to be man's best friend, they naturally appear in many video games.

A feature in Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS games allowing linked multiplayer with only one cartridge.

Experience Points

Experience Points are part of a character advancement system commonly found in RPGs. These points are generally gained by defeating an enemy or completing a task.

A character or a disembodied voice will say the name of the video game. Depending on the mood of the game, this could range from shouting the game's name to ominously whispering it.

In many games there is a ranking system, the players with the highest point value are listed in a "high score" table.

An instantreplay is a gameplay element typically associated with sports games, and widely made popular with the Madden Franchise. Instant replays allow players to go back and view gameplay footage, occasionally from varying points of view.

Licensed Soundtrack

Games that incorporate licensed music from popular bands and musicians for their soundtracks.

Localized Soundtrack

Whether it be to translate foreign lyrics, eschew copyright issues, technical limitations, or appeal to an American audience, these games had changes to their soundtracks when brought to the United States.

Multiple Endings

Multiple endings is a term used to describe different outcomes or conclusions to a game based on the previous actions of the player.

Music as a Weapon

Music in a game that can hurt enemies and/or the player. Note that causing damage with a musical instrument via physical means, such as by bashing an enemy over the head with a guitar, does not apply.

Ninja

Legendary, stealthy assassins from Japan's feudal era, who are well-trained in the art of the sword, and who may or may not have access to magical powers.

Some DS games can use this accessory for a rumbling experience.

Note Streak

Rhythm game's that use beat sliders usually give the player the ability to earn a note streak if they stay on track with their striking of notes consistently

One-Handed Gameplay

Games that can be played with one hand, typically using only half of a standard controller or only the mouse/keyboard.

Petrification

The act of turning someone or something to stone, generally by a fantastic means.

Pug

A pug named Sam is separated from his owner, and the agents dance to Deep Purple's 'Highway Star' to lead Sam back to his home.
