    Overview

Elves in Paradise: Elf Bowling 2 (also known as EB2: Elves in Paradise) is a freeware comedic Christmas-themed behind-the-back deck shuffleboard game developed and digitally released by NStorm for Windows PCs on November 15, 2000.

Set sometime after the original Elf Bowling, Elves in Paradise has Santa Claus playing deck shuffleboard (with his elves as the discs) on the upper deck of the cruise ship S.S. Kringle Cruise against his ne'er-do-well brother Dingle Kringle (of Dingle's Used Ice Company) to win the heart of Mrs. Claus and become the King of Christmas.

Elves in Paradise can be played either against the CPU or another human player, with the game having three rounds of four throws for each player. Each player takes turns propelling an elf across the open deck (by snapping them with their thong bathing suits), attempting to have them land in one of four zones (100, 200, 300, and 400 points, with the latter possible by having them hang off the far edge) while attempting to knock the opposing elves off the deck. Some elves (shown with flashing thongs) have a bonus multiplier applied to them. The game includes both keyboard and mouse controls, with players controlling both the trajectory (by moving the starting position and using the ship's instability) and distance (by clicking at the right time on a moving gauge).

Similar to the original, the game's small one-file distribution was intended for players to email the game to friends and family. It included sponsored advertisements for the online shopping website CDNow. The game was later included in two handheld compilations (Elf Bowling 1 & 2 and Elf Bowling: Collector's Edition) and a PC compilation (Super Elf Bowling Collection) and was revisited in 2004 with Elf Bowling: Bocce Style.
