    The "Endless" franchise began in 2012 with the release of space 4X game Endless Space by French studio Amplitude Studios. It then expanded with Amplitude releasing three more games, fantasy 4X game Endless Legend, Roguelike/Tower Defense hybrid Dungeon of the Endless, and Endless Space 2

    All four of these games share common elements such as the same resources (Dust, Industry, Science, and Food as examples), all have an element of strategy to them, and all take place within the same universe.
