No, certainly not the greatest of all time, but for me he's the most entertaining player to feature in the Premiership. I also agree with what was said earlier - the fact he didnt produce as high quality performaces in europe - or achieve a lot at international level - probably counts against him. But yeah, great to watch. Also, theres no way I'd put Del Piero up with Zidane, Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Best etc.
No. He's an iconic player, United's symbole and a controversial figure, but he's no way as meaningful as Gento, Di Stefano, Maradona, Pele, Cruyff or even Michael Laudrup.
Cantona is without doubt one of the greatest, George was United's Best ever, buts as far as Ronaldo being better that Cantona, no fricking way, says this United fan, and I'm sure most others would say the same. No player in the premiership generation has ever effected our club as much as he did when he joined.
