    Overview

    Escape Goat 2 is a puzzle platformer developed by Magical Time Bean and published by Double Fine for the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. The player once again assumes the role of a goat trapped in the maze, that uses his natural athleticism and his magical mouse friend to reshape the labyrinth until an exit is revealed. Hitting buttons makes shifting changes to the current stage, and finding the right combination is key to getting past enemies and reaching the exit.

    Escape Goat 2 follows the original Escape Goat as a Steam release. Though the two play similarly, Escape Goat 2 has a distinctive hand-drawn style instead of the original's pixel art look and contains a more elaborate story, as well as multiple branching regions to explore and a new magic hat system. Escape Goat 2 also saw a PS4 "console exclusive" release.
