Eternal Sonata is a fantasy RPG developed by tri-Crescendo and 8-4 Ltd. that tells an alternate history story of Frédéric Chopin's final moments.
Eternal Sonata, also known as Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream in Japan, is a unique role-playing game by tri-Crescendo. The game is highly influenced by the music of Frédéric Chopin, who passed away of tuberculosis at the age of 39. While everything takes place inside his dream world, many of the sequences are narrated by Chopin or take place at his death bed during his last hours. The events that took place in his life are very similar to those in the storyline of Eternal Sonata, this is also done by the naming of certain characters, through the combat system where light and darkness play a heavy role, the enemies on the battlefield and the types of magic that can be used. The game features a selection of Chopin's work played by Stanislav Bunin. Although most of the soundtrack was composed by Motoi Sakuraba.| Game Name | Eternal Sonata |
