@junkerman: Kite Co. is made for veterans and new duders, so we're definitely interested. I would recommend getting into the "giantbombing" channel the next time you get a chance. We'll try to answer any kinds of questions you have.

I remember my time in ATLAS when their shitstorm was at its worst. Good gods, the shit. No one knew what to do or even who to talk to, we just flew the hell out of there.

I have no idea where your place of operations are, but it's worth to check out.

Kite Co. is pretty well isolated from BRAVE as a whole. Think of it kind of like America as an ally in World War I. Sure we're all playing on the same team, but we're more about doing our own thing. Being in BRAVE gives you tons of opportunities to do large scale things, but at the end of the day you're a Kite Co. member first.

Hey, it seems like the Giantbomb corp is still pretty active? I have been playing Eve off and on (mostly off) since like 2004 but never joined a corp so I always got tired of it after a while. If there is a friendly corp open to less experienced players I would want to jump back in if the Giantbomb one was still around.

Sounds like a plan. This summer will be the largest change the game has ever seen. They're completely changing the way sovereignty is held. It'll be closer to gangs holding street blocks than collections of communist nation-states. This should make the game way more dynamic on a day-to-day basis.

Hey, I just started playing eve online(not even through the tutorials) I joined the giantbombing channel but haven't done much else. I don't know what my actual account name is in eve since I'm playing through steam but my character's name is Kassah Rendar.

@mrbubbles: Just as an FYI, you never need to give our your account name. Character names are fine! If you join Kite someone will walk you through the api process which gives people whatever info they may need.

@mrbubbles: You should finish the tutorial stuff before applying to a corp just to get used to the game.

Once you get all settled, apply to Kite Co. Space Trucking in game or join the chat channel "giantbombing" and someone will help you get sorted out and hanging with us. I believe we have ships and stuff to give new players to blow up and not worry about isk and such.

What happened?

The majority of the remaining active members joined TEST with their mains and transferred CEO to an alt.

I left for Pandemic Horde a while ago so I can't go into any more detail than that.

I'll have figure out a direction for my PvP urges. Also, need to learn to PvP.
