Damn, that Honda player was bad.

A lot of people are hating Skisonic in the chat, why is that?

I don't know. I think Ski is fine.

#53 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

@Anwar: Also pro tip, ignore the chat. Too many trolls in there. Even if they paid $12.00 to chat, they will still troll.

#54 Posted by C2C (855 posts) -

Really digging the commentary on the KOF stream. Pretty funny stuff.

#55 Posted by InfiniteGeass (2058 posts) -

More Persona 4 Arena footage? Yes please.

I believe.

Tokido in Losers now in SF4. Damn. Good shit Eric Hai.

#59 Posted by Bestostero (2758 posts) -

First exciting match, Tokido sent to losers by a no name(?)

#60 Posted by TheGlitchmaster (69 posts) -

I'm kinda off-and-on watching the AE stream. There's some really good stuff going on already. Finals are gonna be incredible.

#61 Posted by hakunin (395 posts) -

Oh wow

Just tuned in to see Tokido lose, pretty good play from the other guy though. Also not sure who the commentator with skisonic is but he has a nice bow tie ;)

Eric Hai is a solid player from Canada.

#65 Posted by churrific (483 posts) -

Lol. "That was nastier than honey on mayonnaise." Something about seeing solid Ryu play never gets old.

#66 Edited by mubress (1517 posts) -

@Bestostero: That's juicebox? Hmm I've seen him before but didn't recognize him, I guess my eyes were drawn to the bow tie :P

I love the commentator for the Persona 4 Arena stream.

#69 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

Two SoCal players playing against each other. That sucks.

#70 Posted by TheGlitchmaster (69 posts) -

Woolie's a champ. That was a sweet match.

Had the tiniest of chances against Daigo, but I respect that Woolie.

I think Woolie knew the outcome but at least wanted to make Daigo work for it and show he wasn't a pushover. He deserves kudos I say.

I'm waiting for the Sony presser for some new info on Playstation Battle Royale...

C'mon CAPTAIN BLASTO!

#75 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

Poongko. :)

#76 Posted by TurboMan (7680 posts) -

@JJOR64: Sherm gave him a run for his money... Poongko is my fave, but I was rooting for Sherm during the last round.

#77 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

That was a another good match. If only he would stop dropping combos.

#78 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

Good shit James Chen.

#79 Posted by C2C (855 posts) -

Yeah, his reactions were spot on.

#80 Posted by supamon (1334 posts) -

Here we go! Winner bracket time!

Alright! I am home! Let's do this!

Any upsets I should know about? Has the stream gone down at any point?

Stream is fantastic. Poonkga and Daigo was both given runs for their money.

Tokido is in Losers. Eric Hai from Canada beat him.

#84 Posted by FLStyle (4839 posts) -

@TurboMan: Awesome, I should've known not to doubt Spooky and Haunts.

@JJOR64: Wow! He's going to have to play so many more matches against killers to have a shot at Top 8

I was worried about Magus being on commentary duty, but he's actually been really good.

Magus is fantastic. Arguably the best out there.

#87 Posted by Killroycantkill (1420 posts) -

Magus know how to be professional when he needs to be. But when he's allowed to let loose he just goes for it.

#88 Posted by JJOR64 (19046 posts) -

Time for work. :_(

#89 Posted by FLStyle (4839 posts) -

@JJOR64: Sad times, hope work isn't too unbearable.

Crazy guy playing on a keyboard!

#90 Posted by mrcraggle (1974 posts) -

I missed the end of KoF but I did get to see some really good matches. Looking forward to seeing quarters as some fights were horribly one sided.

Holy crap. Keyboard player. That's pretty sick. I guess if it works it works.

#92 Posted by DocHaus (1356 posts) -

BBCSEX stream in xiei, VF5FS stream in 8wayrun. Interesting matches so far.

Oh yeah also main Evo streams too I guess. Woo. Go that guy.

#93 Posted by FLStyle (4839 posts) -

@DocHaus: Ahhh so the 8WayRun stream equipment made it to Vegas in time to stream VF5FS? Good stuff. I would've been really disappointed if it hadn't been streamed all weekend.

#94 Posted by Bestostero (2758 posts) -

Evo stream 3 was really good!

i didnt watch all of it, but did anyone know if the topic of the possibility of more characters were mentioned at all at the marvel panel?

#95 Edited by FLStyle (4839 posts) -

@Bestostero: I don't think so. The most important thing I recall was that they're not going to patch the game, whatever is in stays in.

PS. Awkward Matt is still definitely awkward, his presentation abilities haven't improved since Cross Assault (unless he's doing it on purpose now as a counter-troll).

#96 Posted by VicRattlehead (1400 posts) -

magus is godlike, pitty derry aint up in there with him like in 08 when sf4 came out that shit was godlike

#97 Posted by Bestostero (2758 posts) -

Kayane vs Fuudo on SCV was really good...im a little surprised she got sent to losers

#98 Posted by Bestostero (2758 posts) -

Stick throw!!! WOOO! lol

EVO 2012 has as many concurrent viewers on Day 1 as EVO 2010 maxed out at (via FishStix).
