Worst experience grind you have 'experienced' in a game?

I'd say Everquest pre-4th expansion. That's harsh stuff right there.
MapleStory is just (if not more) ridiculous, due to boredom setting in easily and requiring insane amounts of xp to level up.
WOW has nothing on these days, wow is actually tolerable for me.

Quoted for truth. My big one personally was Runescape and GE Wars (two free ones). They were both just a huge grind, as with most MMOs and some RPG games.

Edit: I take that back. Now that I think of it, Pokemon really was a grind. I just didn't really think of it that way back then.

Lineage 2 Pre-Chaotic Throne. I've played a ton of MMO's and been in a lot of bad grinds before, but to me that one was the worst.

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, I had to level up just so I can damage the Boss. And FFTA, I trained my Archer from Lv.16 to Lv.40 in one match which took a really long time.
