The ability to fling oneself around an environment gracefully. Wall-running, jumping, massive drops, climbing, and other physical activities are what acrobatics is all about.
Assassins are people who are tasked with the action of violence against peoples, though their general aims are to be discreet and as minimally violent as possible in order to remain discreet if necessary.
When you hold down one button and you character automatically leaps over things and such.

Eagle Vision is an ability that any person of Assassin lineage possesses, but few know how to activate. The person is able to identify an ally or enemy by glowing colors. The most well-trained Assassins can train it into an advanced form called Eagle Sense.
Eavesdropping as a gameplay mechanic usually involves stealth gameplay, where the player might be required to overhear vital information to advance in the game. Or they may just receive a benefit by doing so.
When the player's actions cause enemies to say specific lines of dialog, such as "He's here!" or "Who turned out the lights?"
Everything you need isn't always spelled out for you on the map. Sometimes even the map is not there till you go explore it.
Gliding is an ability that allows a character to extend their jump further usually through the help of wings or other aerodynamic tools. Unlike flying, gliding usually doesn't allow the character to gain or maintain altitude, but only slows its descent.
A grief beard is facial hair that appears on a character after something tragic happens to them in a storyline. The amount of tragedy and how the character is handling it can often be seen in the beard itself.
Games featuring guests introduce playable, established characters from outside of a franchise. Primarily but not exclusively seen in fighting games.
When a developer begs and pleads and offers to do laundry for even a tiny guest appearance, sometimes those famous characters will still flake on them. At least they still have their laundry.
The smoke that rises out the barrel of a gun.
Any stealth operative or athletic character knows this ability. Necessary if you're hanging on a ledge and don't want to fall.
Games with characters known for wearing hoods over their heads, whether they be cloaked cultists, assassins, or just guys that keep their hoodies in the upright-and-locked position.
Characters who speak with an Italian flavoured accent, usually second generation immigrants.
It's arguably the one move that symbolizes the medium to those outside it. The ability to jump, be it onto a building, a platform, or a skull, is one of the all time most important abilities ever put in a video game.

Locomotion is when the characters feet collide with what it is standing on, making the animations look a lot more realistic. Many games use this concept, such as Skate 3 and Grand Theft Auto IV.
