That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard all day. I have to call up and downgrade the pre-order tomorrow. That's annoying as hell. I actually don't know whether or not I'll keep it Limited. It's a hard debate.
And honestly, I try to have confidence in this game, but I was disappointed fuck-all with the co-op being left out for a week (not because I wanted to play out of the box, but for reasons of principle). Now this happens, and I wonder what else we think is included by default will be taken out idiotically. I don't know what's going to happen.

lol i see no problem so they weren't able to fullfill the promise you should be more glad they actually admitted it and didn't go off and just release it so people can be like WHAT THE FUCK on release day. which has happend with game companies before.

There's... quite a large problem with them not being able to fulfill such a promise.
I canceled my pre-order over this. I have never seen anything this ridiculous before today. They take out online co-op for the launch and now this...I'll be picking it up later, cheap and used.

Petey cannot even guarantee things that are NOT in the game? Always sticking with the normal version of the game, the accessories are generally pointless.

Yes the reserve should be in the store you "reserved" it at online, as if you had gone in there and reserved it. To downgrade it, we would just cancel the old pre-order, and place a new pre-order on the other edition.
THIS JUST IN: Peter Molyneux has done away completely with pre-orders for any of his future games, including the soon-to-be-released Fable 2. The reason for this is that "corporate entities seem to hate my unwillingness to commit to anything, and I'm over-ambitious. I called them twats, too. Probably wasn't a good idea."
When reached for comment, Microsoft swiftly said the same usual statement: "We don't know why we keep giving him money, either...but you people keep buying it!!!"
Fable 2 is set to be released somewhere close to the center of the sun "very soon", from what Molyneux stated.

Thats really dumb for anyone that was gonna get this, luckily for me I see no appeal to this game at all, only need one RPG this year and fallout is miles above fable imo.

The Fable II Collector's Edition will be missing some stuff. The swish box, some cards, and a neat little Hobbe figure. The box and the figure, sadly, there's nothing that can be done for them. They're gone. But the cards, they live on, Lionhead telling us that they'll be made available as downloadable pdf files so you can print them off. They won't look as good as they would have coming from a professional printer, but then, poor quality versions are normally better than no version at all.
You have got to be kidding me. Way to drop the fucking ball. I'm looking at both of you, Lionhead and MS. Although I do suppose I should thank them, they saved me $20 in the end.

He has been doing a lot better since Project Ego aka the first Fable. I mean really he did pretty darn good at kinda keeping his mouth shut this time. Last time he promised the world and thats why I think it got just so dumped on. People were expecting something else than what they received as their final review copy and they were not happy with it. I personally enjoyed the first Fable.
