They made Fable II downloadable in five episodic chunks.
As for the OP's question, I've got no clue. :B

Can't remember exactly when it cuts off, but ep 3 is really really short... Like, really short.

Kinda regret buying it. especially when they cost almost 1200 points each over here. ;s

Why not just buy the disk? Surely it would work out a lot cheaper.

The cut-off is probably when you *SPOILERS* encounter the Hero of Strength *ENDS* because by then you've unlocked Bowestone, Rookridge and Oakfield.

To be honest it is a very strange package. I suppose if you've never played it before, you can have it on your hard drive to play at any time without a disc, but as someone who already owns it, I have absolutely no reason to get it, even though I bloody love that game.

@Hitchenson: Well i had some points left over so i bought ep 2, when i reached the end of that and saw another 1120 price tag I got a bit shocked, but thought " ahh ep 2 had a fair amount of content though so porbably worth it"  Then an hour later it asks me for anoter 1120 points.  So now i'm basically fucked no matter how i choose to do it...

But seriously, how can they justify the pricetag of ep3? the only thing you do is fight in the crusifix thingy, then you're done.  At least in ep.2 you unlocked a bunch of the game + a decent chunk in the story aswell...

The episodes are over priced.  You are better off buying the disc or wait until next year when its released as a platinum hits title with extra content.

@Koukou: Seriously, you had to pay 1120MSP JUST for the Crucible? That's insane.

@Hitchenson: Yeaaaah, kinda pissed me off.

But this whole thing reminds me; Ep 2 cuts off at the entrance to the "Bandits coast" or what ever it's called. Then ep. 3 lasts through the howling cave thingy and the crucible.

Got no idea how long ep 4 is, since I'm really not giving lion head more money.

I was wondering about this Fable 2 episodic thing myself and i thought maybe episodes 1, 2 and 3 are the game and then 4 and 5 are the DLC but i geuss not.  I do like how they made part 1 FREE so which makes it kinda like an extended demo, but if each part cost $10 worth of M$ points then i geuss it'd be easier to buy the fully game from the bargan bin and some point cards for the DLC.

On the bright side it was funny watching all those orbs floating around and listening in on the voice chat.
